The property owner and the estate agent are responsible for providing an EPC prior to selling or renting out a property. By the end of 2025, new Government rules mean that any home rented out under a new contract needs to have a C rating or above. By 2028, all rentals have to be up to that level. You may also need an EPC if you're applying for an energy savings grant. Our Domestic Energy Assessor will visit the property (often within 24hrs of receiving your booking) and conduct a thorough inspection and produce an EPC which accurately reflects a properties energy performance. We will also provide advice and recommendations as to how the EPC score could be improved.
